Bevan Morrison
Co-chair
Project Manager, Morrison Heritage Orchards
Bevan is an experienced engineer having lived 22 years overseas in eight different countries. Now returned to Warkworth where his family has lived as farmers and orchardists for the last 160 years. He is keenly interested in sustainable development and protecting the unique history and heritage we have in Mahurangi for future generations. Bevan also sits on the Mahurangi Heritage Group committee.
David Stott
Co-chair
After working nearly 50 years as a Civil Engineer and Project Manager, Dave is now retired. A project manager for the Oaks Retirement Village and the Warkworth Hotel upgrade, Dave ran his own consultancy, Strategix Consulting Ltd. Dave is currently Co-Chair with Chris Penk (MP) of the Transport and Infrastructure Committee, Chair of the Tautuku/Waikawa Maori Land Trust, and a Trustee of the Matakana Coastal Trail Trust. Dave was previously Co-Deputy Chair of One Mahurangi and his main involvement has been advocating with Government and Council agencies for better transport infrastructure for the Mahurangi District.

Patrick leads WRMK Lawyers’ growing Warkworth office, bringing with him many years of general legal experience, including property, life planning and commercial work. He has been a lawyer in Warkworth for over 10 years and enjoys working with clients in the Mahurangi area and spending time at his property in Leigh
Donna Wyllie

With her husband, Donna is co-owner of Composite Joinery Ltd. They have had a business in Glenmore Drive since 1989.
Donna is also a Real Estate Agent in Warkworth. Originally part of the Warkworth Business Association in the 1990s, Donna’s interest in Warkworth is as a long-time resident, business owner, and property owner. She believes that if Warkworth thrives, we all thrive and Donna hopes to help out in areas that are beneficial to all of us.
Burnette O’Connor
Director, The Planning Collective
Burnette is an independent planning consultant. She has run her own business since October 2001 under the banner of O’Connor Planning Consultants, then OPC, and now The Planning Collective, and undertakes planning work for a wide variety of clients throughout New Zealand. This includes policy advice, plan changes, resource consents, Environment Court hearings and mediation. Burnette is passionate about ensuring the planned growth in and around Warkworth achieves a quality outcome for current and future generations. She was the lead planner and project manager for Plan Change 25 – Warkworth North and motivated a group of local development experts to generate a community-initiated spatial plan that was provided to Auckland Council. Most recently Burnette has worked on a 140 hectare plan change for most of the remaining Warkworth North Future Urban zoned land.
Matt Henderson

Originally from the North Shore, Matt moved to Warkworth looking for a better work/lifestyle balance. Having enjoyed customer-based retail in the past, he knew that when Warkworth Menswear came up for sale, it was the perfect opportunity to live the dream. Matt has worked hard to change the look of the shop, creating a one-stop destination for all the men in the area, while ensuring all the needs of the locals are met. Over the last 5 years, Matt has contributed to events and fundraisers that help build a better and stronger community. Moving forward he would love to see Warkworth as a thriving retail destination catering to all.

Louise is a proactive networker and strategic thinker and has held many senior management and consulting roles in both corporate and her own companies.
She is an energetic person with a positive work outlook and in-depth hands-on knowledge of the pre and post-sales processes.
Louise understands the sales processes and how key relationships are built into this process. She has been intimately involved in the development of two CRM software processes.
Louise currently owns the Matakana Coast App. She has lived in Pakiri, Leigh, Matakana and Snells Beach for the last 27 years and Warkworth has been her town. She is proud to serve on the One Mahurangi Business Association committee.

Steve has been playing around with water and running his own business in Warkworth since Jan 2000.
Having moved here from the UK in 1995 Steve thinks he is somewhat becoming a local. Warkworth is a fantastic place to raise a family and run a business, the area and its people have so much to offer.
Steve has been a member of various local groups over the years and contributing to the business community is one way of serving the local community. Warkworth is a vibrant community, and never has there been a better time or opportunity than right now to get involved and make a difference.

A love of people and behavioural processes, Simonne recognises that increasing revenue is not the only part of the wealth equation. With extensive studies in Mental Fitness, Positive Psychology, Behavioural Profiling and a Master NLP Practitioner, Simonne is passionate about identifying, understanding and removing disempowering patterns that get in the way of our full potential. Fulfilment and success are truly an inside job.
When the opportunity for contribution within her local business community came up, Simonne leapt at the opportunity, keen to understand and be part of such a dynamic phase in the area’s development.

With more than 25 years of experience in the digital solutions, marketing, and IT strategy landscape, Duncan is now focusing his vast digital experience on local businesses.
Duncan wants to give back to local businesses in an effort to help them grow and contribute to the local community.
In his short time since moving to Warkworth, Duncan has thrown himself into the local community becoming a Trustee for the Cement Works Warkworth Conservation Trust, team captain and committee member for Warkwork Tennis Club, and a committee member for One Maharangi Business Association. He reckons he’s never felt so connected to a community and intends to stay for a long time and is looking forward to being the resident geek at large.
