Less Waste Warkworth will provide expanded reuse and recycling services, including a dedicated construction reuse area for salvaged building materials; helping to divert more items from landfill and support a local circular economy.

“We’d like to sincerely thank the Wellsford community and everyone who has supported Less Waste Wellsford over the past few years,” says Less Waste Manager Mark Gane.

“While it’s always difficult to close a well-loved community site, this change allows us to invest in a stronger, more sustainable reuse and recycling hub in Warkworth,”

In the lead-up to closure, customers are encouraged to visit the Wellsford shop and take advantage of final sale opportunities, while continuing to support reuse and recycling through Less Waste Warkworth.
