We are passionate about our customers and clothes and love matching the two! We have customers in their 30s through to customers in their 90s – women who like to follow fashion but not be dictated by it.  

Brenda Hawley has owned the business for almost 25 years. It is her years of experience and listening to customers and good relationships built with suppliers that ensures a great selection of gorgeous, fun, wearable fashions each season. Brenda and her staff know the stock well and are able to make suggestions to customers who are wondering just what will suit their body shape and colouring. They’ll give an honest opinion when asked about a garment being tried on, and come up with helpful ideas if alternatives are sought.

Our collection is made up of mainly ‘smart casual’ styles from over 35 labels. Gaby’s is a proud supporter of ‘NZ made’ and some of the labels are indeed that. Some others are designed in NZ but manufactured off-shore. Others are designed and manufactured in Canada, Australia, UK or United States.
