Kia ora everyone,
It has been a busy and encouraging month for One Mahurangi, with a strong focus on listening, connecting and supporting our local business community.
We were pleased to support the WRMK Women in Business Breakfast and the inaugural monthly Trades and Services Networking Meeting. Both events were well attended and generated positive engagement, practical ideas and valuable conversations about how OMBA can better support businesses across Warkworth and the wider Mahurangi area.
William and his colleagues from Werkits have also been speaking directly with a number of local businesses to gather an independent view of how things are going on the ground. This feedback, alongside the ideas shared through our recent meetings and conversations, will be reviewed, prioritised and turned into action.
Over time, this work will feed into the development of a new strategic plan for OMBA, ensuring our direction is shaped by local business voices and focused on the things that will make the biggest difference.
