The only Visitor Information centre on State Highway One between Auckland and Whangarei, the Warkworth Information Centre is a hub for visitors and locals alike. With a wealth of local knowledge and access to One Mahurangi’s online business directory, the Information Centre can provide recommendations on everything from accommodation, attractions and activities to local tradespeople, professional services, community groups and organisations.

The Information Centre is happy to make bookings for you and is a ticketing agent for InterCity bus services. Please note, the InterCity bus stop is now located just north of the Warkworth town centre. Please ask for the exact location when making a booking.

The Information Centre also provides promotional opportunities for local businesses with brochure displays and billboard space. This is an inexpensive and effective way to be seen by visitors and locals alike, and an easy way for Info Centre Manager, Alison Hitchcock and her volunteers to recommend your business.
