Omaha Beach Golf Club

The Omaha Beach Golf Club was established in 1976 and has a history of hard working green keepers, countless working bees and an abiding love for the game and its honorable traditions.

In 2003 a second nine holes were added  (at the southern end of the beach)  by renowned New Zealand golf course designers Darby and Associates, who have designed some of the countries best courses including Millbrook, Clearwater and Jacks Point.

The Omaha Golf Course has now attained championship status as well as international recognition and continues to evolve with the guidance of course architect Chris Pitman and  the implementation of ‘The Pitman Plan’ by course manager Corey Wilcox and his team.

The Golf Club has sustained considerable growth over the last few years both with both membership and visitor numbers.
