We also know times are tough. Costs are up, margins are tight, and every business is watching where money goes. That is exactly why working together matters. A strong collective voice gives local businesses more influence, better reach, and a greater ability to get things done for Warkworth.
The challenge is that the current BID funding model has been fixed since 2020, with no practical mechanism to review or adjust it as costs, priorities and business needs change. If we are going to act on what members have asked for, we need to get the structure right first.
That is why we are proposing changes to the constitution.
